About the Organization

The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization is a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registered, non-stock, non-profit organization based in Cebu City, Philippines founded by its President, Mrs. Julianne Mae Feliciano-Vera Cruz, a registered nurse, mother of 2, visionary, a writer and a beauty queen. She works alongside the Organization’s Secretary, Ms. Lovelyn G. Feliciano, an educator, a mother, and also a beauty queen, in accomplishing the Organization’s key purpose: community service and young mother support.

Collaborating with different organizations in Cebu and the rest of the Philippines, The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization commits to extend a helping hand during disasters like floods, fires, and landslides. Its members who are former candidate mothers and titleholders of Queen Mother of Cebu The Pageant are actively joining in this admirable effort.

In its first year of establishment, The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization was able to work jointly with 93.9 iFM and 612 DYHP radio stations under RMN Networks in their Oplan Tabang Program; Bisayang Laagan Serye and Best of Cebu – Philippines in their integrated medical mission; Philippine Dental Association – Mandaue Dental Chapter in their Beauty with a Purpose Charity Mission and Oral Health Advocacy together with beauty queen title holders in Cebu; The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles Inc. Cebu North Lilo-an Eagles Club in their medical mission; and the Cebu Business Park Lions Club in their fun run-for-a-cause.

Aside from partnering with charitable organizations, a portion of the ticket sales of Queen Mother of Cebu The Pageant is given to its chosen beneficiaries: Bukas Palad Foundation – Cebu Chapter, Cebu City Task Force on Street Children and a charity house run by nuns in Suba, Pasil, Cebu.

True to its mission, The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization hopes to give more and do more mission work in the Provinces of Cebu, Cebu City and to the rest of the Philippines.

About the Pageant

Queen Mother of Cebu The Pageant is a pageant which aims to recognize the value of mothers and their contributions in their family and the society.

It also desires to provide its candidate mothers a meaningful experience not only in pageantry but also in charitable works. The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization – serving as the parent organization – believes that the genuine heart of a mother comes first than beauty.

In this unique pageant, the candidates’ character and attitude have the highest points. It has no swimsuit competition, instead the pageant has a segment where the candidate mothers’ create their own funwear using recycled materials (much like the DIY school projects they do for their children). This segment symbolizes the pageant’s desire to support advocacies that protect our Mother Earth.

Open to ages 21 to 60 years old, Queen Mother of Cebu The Pageant accepts married, single, annulled, and widowed mothers. Celebrating women in all shape and sizes, the pageant also accepts fit or plus-size mothers.

Queen Mother of Cebu 2023 is the Organization’s first pageant instalment.

The Purpose

With community service as the main driving purpose, Queen Mother of Cebu The Pageant also endeavours to create a long-lasting sisterhood with its fellow candidate mothers gearing to uplift one another not only during but also after the pageant, and for them to have fun during the diverse activities they will be undergoing.

To put it simply, gain a ‘Me Time.’

The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization sees the pageant as an opportunity to raise funds for its beneficiary charities and future community programs in Cebu City, Cebu Provinces, and the rest of the Philippines.

SINULOG 2024 FLOAT OF QUEEN MOTHER OF CEBU ORGANIZATION

Queen Mother of Cebu Organization made their debut in the Sinulog 2024 Grand Parade by joining the Sinulog Float Category.

The float is unlike any other float, as it had a special message to all: WORLD PEACE.

The Queen Mother of Cebu Organization would like to thank the following people behind the fulfilment of the Sinulog 2024 float:

Feeling silly that time, but I didn’t expect I’ll be one of the official candidates. 😅 I really thought that it’s a scam or what, just that I want to try since I was curious. And also, it is my first time to know that there is a pageant for mothers that have different categories accepted: widowed, single mom, plus-size and married. So, I tried and I felt lucky to be accepted. I didn’t expect it at all. 🤭 This is where I started my QMC journey. ♥️

As a mother and as my first time to join a beauty pageant, I never expected to pass the screening and be qualified as one of the finalists of the first-ever Queen Mother of Cebu 2023. I thought I could not make it until the finals because as a full-time mom to my kids, I also need to fulfill my duties to them too, and the Queen Mother of Cebu activities and outreach programs. Indeed, Queen Mother of Cebu is one of my best unforgettable experience. I thought I could not slay in a big stage and face many people, but I really did it. I was one of the Top 16 💜 I met new momshies friends and develop sisterhood and it really boosted my self-confidence. Since then, I became part of QMC. Queen Mother of Cebu is not only an organization for me, but its like a family to me. I am so much thankful to the very kind-hearted and pretty founder of QMC, Ma’am Julianne Mae F. Vera Cruz for my amazing experience✨️🥰🙏💗💗💗

Queen Mother of Cebu opened doors of opportunities & possibilities in my life. This family has given me unexpected experiences and friendships that are for keeps. Being one of the youngest candidate, surrounded by beautiful, strong and loving moms for almost 6 months, I learned a lot of things that helped me grow to be a better version of myself, more humble & more grateful.

The experiences I had taught me so much about myself, my capabilities, and the importance of women empowering women, moms supporting moms.

A big thanks to God for giving us the Feliciano Sisters, Ma’am Julianne & Ma’am Lovelyn, together with the core group , who founded this amazing organization!

A year ago today, I finally had the courage to click THAT link and registered. It took me a while to do it because of second thoughts, hesitations, fear. But my subconscious self won, I had to do it. Got a confirmation 4 days after, attended the physical screening process just like everyone else. Manifested (see phone wallpaper) prayed, trained, worked hard. And the rest is history. That gold and silver on that podium back in January 21, 2023 is already my most valuable possession now.
